Meet Carla Dignan

Psychologist

Carla is a registered psychologist. Carla has completed Masters level education in Psychology and specialised training in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

My experience:

Carla’s clinical background includes working extensively with men across a range of settings including veterans and DVA clients as well as individuals within correctional and forensic settings many of who have experienced chronic trauma, neglect, violence and systemic disadvantage.

This experience has informed a calm, practical and trauma informed approach to therapy particularly for men living with PTSD, complex trauma and long standing patterns shaped by high stress or institutional contexts. Carla is EMDR trained and works primarily via telehealth.
